Areas of work at the ILI: compensation for damage caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (national and international mechanisms); recovery (including confiscation and civil forfeiture) of assets of the Russian Federation and persons contributing to the armed aggression; analysis of the HACC practice of applying a sanction in the form of asset forfeiture to the state revenue.
Other areas of research: tort law; comparative tort law; tort claims as a tool for the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms; tort law in wartime; and economic analysis of law; business and human rights.
