Development, improvement and monitoring of the implementation of asset management legislation in Ukraine

Project goal
to develop and implement an effective and transparent system of public governance for managing seized and blocked assets, and to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency to ensure proper oversight of the preservation and use of these assets.
Project objectives
- Improving approaches to implementing public policy in the management of blocked assets
- Developing and implementing transparent procedures for managing seized assets
- Establishing an effective legislative framework to ensure the preservation of the economic value of seized assets, minimize expenditures from the State Budget of Ukraine, and facilitate its replenishment
- Enhancing ARMA's internal policies for more effective task performance
The objectives will be achieved through the analysis of legislation and practice, the development of policy, and the improvement of asset management legislation in collaboration with the Asset Recovery and Management Agency, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and other government agencies.
