One of the co-authors of the draft law on the High Anti-Corruption Court, which provided for full independence of the specialized court handling cases under the jurisdiction of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. However, to expedite the adoption of the law, it was proposed that former President Petro Poroshenko be named as its official initiator. The law was passed in 2018.

Headed the working group that developed the draft law ensuring the independence of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO). This law granted SAPO autonomy from the Prosecutor General’s Office, introduced the institution of detectives, and imposed on officials the duty to prove the legitimacy of their assets. Failure to do so was criminalized as "Illicit Enrichment."

Together with the Ministry of Justice, Yehor developed a law on the comprehensiveness of public officials’ e-declarations. Thanks to this law, all officials must now declare not only the property officially registered in their name, but also assets registered under others but actually under their control, including so-called "unfinished constructions."

On behalf of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, he defended the Law “On the Purification of Government” (Lustration Law) in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

In June 2021, he completed military training as part of one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, receiving the military specialty "rifleman." In August 2021, he signed a contract with a territorial defense unit.
