In an interview for Gaming Capital, Taras Ryabchenko, legal analyst at IZI, spoke about the peculiarities of gambling business taxation in Ukraine
"Now we are returning to discussions on how to amend the Tax Code. The draft law 2713-d, compared to the current one, provides for only a 10% income tax and an 18% profit tax. The question of the fairness of these rates is debatable and will always be," said Taras Ryabchenko.
According to him, now everyone has started paying taxes and the tax burden has started to grow. At one point, this stimulates companies not to pay taxes, but to look for ways to evade taxes and leave the legal field. On the contrary, they need to be brought back into this legal field.
He added that the bill addresses not only taxes but also other schemes and negative consequences.
"It will be easier to fight ludomania and addiction. There will be a registry and a state online monitoring system, which we also need to discuss. The state will see all payments, unclear transactions, and changes in payment purposes," said Taras Ryabchenko.
