On 6 September, the Strategic Session of the International Council of Experts under the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine was held

At this event, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed between the Prosecutor General's Office and NGOs, including the ILI.

Within the framework of the International Council of Experts, the Head of the ILI Tetiana Khutor is a co-coordinator of the direction ‘Combating corruption, search, seizure and confiscation of assets of persons involved in the aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine’ of the International Council of Experts under the PGO.

The key area of cooperation of the ILI is the work on the draft law on the criminalization of circumvention and violation of sanctions, which is intended to ensure responsibility for those who try to avoid sanctions restrictions.

The Institute of Legislative Ideas continues its mission to improve legislative processes and strengthen legal mechanisms in the area of asset recovery and confiscation of sanctioned persons.

Cooperation with the Prosecutor General's Office will be an important step towards strengthening Ukraine's sanctions policy and ensuring accountability for violators.
