The National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine has imposed sanctions on 606 executives in Russia. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a video address.
According to the head of state, 28 members of the Russian Security Council, 154 members of the Federation Council and 424 members of the State Duma were sanctioned.
Zelensky noted that all of them are responsible for Russia's war against Ukraine, and none of them will escape punishment.
As a reminder, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) recently ruled to confiscate the assets of Vladimir Yevtushenkov, one of the richest men in Russia. Yevtushenkov is one of the richest men in Russia. As of 2021, he was worth $3.4 billion. One of his main assets is Sistema JSFC. It owns the RTI Systems concern, which is one of the world's largest defence companies, developing control and communication systems and radio equipment for Russian weapons. For example, the Voronezh stationary radar stations, which are designed to detect and track ballistic and cruise missiles and other aerodynamic objects.
