For the first time, real estate was confiscated in Germany due to sanctions in connection with Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.
This was reported by Yevropeiska Pravda.
‘On 14 June, the Munich Prosecutor's Office confiscated three properties (private apartments), as well as a bank account that received monthly rent payments of about 3,500 euros,’ the report says.
According to journalists, it is a member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. His wife is registered at his place of residence in Munich.
The property was confiscated because the deputy voted in favour of a resolution calling on the Russian president to recognise the independence of the so-called LPR and DPR.
