More than UAH 3 billion went to Ukraine's state budget. So far, this is the only case of confiscation of Russian state assets.
Another way is to confiscate private assets under a special procedure. To do this, the Ministry of Justice must file a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court.
Five HACC decisions and four lawsuits are already pending. Under this mechanism, Ukraine has already been confiscated.
- assets of Russian oligarch and arms manufacturer Vladimir Yevtushenkov;
- property of three propagandist rectors;
- residences, money, and half a thousand cultural monuments of fugitive President Yanukovych.
