This week, the Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 7413, which amends state budget expenditures.
The expenditures of the state budget of Ukraine will be increased by over UAH 287 billion. The funds will be raised through external borrowing.
The funds will be used for, among other things:
1. The Ministry of Internal Affairs - UAH 76.4 billion of which:
- National Police of Ukraine - UAH 28.5 billion.
- The National Guard of Ukraine - over UAH 25 billion.
- The State Emergency Service of Ukraine - UAH 13.18 billion.
- The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine - UAH 7.9 billion.
- The apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - UAH 1.4 billion.
- The State Migration Service of Ukraine - 285.9 million hryvnias.
2. The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine - 166.1 billion hryvnias of which:
- Supporting the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, training of personnel and troops, medical care for personnel, veterans of military service and their families, and war veterans - UAH 102.4 billion.
- Development, procurement, modernisation and repair of weapons, military equipment, facilities and equipment - UAH 62.1 billion.
3. Pension fund - 20 billion hryvnias.
4. E-support - UAH 5.8 billion.
5. In addition, other bodies were financed: The Security Service of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the State Protection Department, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine - over UAH 548 million.
