Impact on the Russian economy. For international companies, relations with Russia will become toxic.

Other legal solutions will be encouraged, such as the creation of a tribunal to pay reparations to Ukraine and confiscate previously blocked Russian assets.

Isolation of Russia from the civilised world.

As a reminder, the ILI presented the results of its research at the EU Sanctions Working Group (Freeze and Seize). International partners are interested in finding rehabilitation mechanisms that will allow to confiscate sovereign and private Russian assets.
Europe is also ready to introduce liability for avoiding sanctions.
