The Yulia Shevchenko National Criminal Law Moot is organised by ELSA Kyiv. The event is held in the form of a discussion between two teams representing the positions ‘For’ and ‘Against’.

IZI is pleased to join the initiative to develop interesting and useful skills for law students in Ukraine.

 Yulia Shevchenko was a PhD student at the Yaroslav the Wise National Law University, winner of the Anti-Corruption Landing project, and an employee of the NACP who actively helped law students. Yulia died as a result of shelling on 30 July 2023 in the Zaporizhzhia sector while defending Ukraine. The competition is organized to honor Yulia's memory, and therefore 30% of the amount raised from the registration fees will be transferred to her family.
