The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has prepared a new list of ‘candidates’ for international sanctions. Among them are the owner of Russian Standard and a close friend of Putin.

"The NACP has prepared a new list of 1018 individuals and legal entities involved in the war against Ukraine. In total, 15.5 thousand individuals and 3.7 thousand legal entities have already been included in the list. This is part of the 100,000 people who are subject to sanctions in accordance with the Roadmap for Individual Sanctions developed by the Ermak-McFall International Working Group, which includes NACP employees," the agency said.

The NACP noted that the current list includes:

🔹 leadership of the military units of the Russian Federation and the self-proclaimed so-called ‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’, which are involved in the war;

🔹 companies of the defence industry and their management. Among others, Tekhinkom, a company that produces bulletproof vests, and Budafon LTD, a company that supplies radio communications equipment to the Russian army, were added;

🔹 Banks and their management;

🔹 propagandists and artists, including:

🔸 the founder of the Exmo publishing house and the president of this publishing house. ‘Exmo publishes anti-Ukrainian, separatist literature, some of its publications question the right of the Ukrainian nation to its own statehood and distort history;

🔸 Singer and showman Philip Kirkorov (https://bit.ly/3Otffhy), who is still ‘running away’ from the war in Ukraine, has repeatedly stated his support for the annexation of Crimea and considers the peninsula part of Russia;

🔸Natalia Poryvay, better known as Natasha Koroleva (https://bit.ly/3OznubM), a singer and member of the United Russia party. The singer chose a silent position after the Russian invasion

In addition, the NACP proposed to initiate the issue of including in the sanctions lists

🔹 billionaire Rustam Tariko, owner of the Russian Standard bank and co-founder of Roust, one of the main alcohol producers in Central and Eastern Europe. His assets include a $15 million villa in Sardinia, two high-speed boats, a Boeing 737 aircraft and exclusive cars;

🔹 Putin's close associate Svetlana Krivonogikh, whose assets are estimated at 7.7 billion rubles. She and her family members own the Igora ski resort, an apartment in Monaco worth €3.6 million, a 37-metre yacht worth about $5.4 million and other property.

To expand the sanctions lists, the NACP is compiling lists of people it considers to be involved in the war.
