Opendatabot has calculated the number of operating companies with at least one Russian citizen among their owners, founders or ultimate beneficiaries

‘As of 24 February, 17,488 such companies were recorded. Since the publication of this register by Opendatabot in March 2022, stakes owned by Russian residents in some companies have already been arrested or transferred to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA),’ the statement said.

In particular, these are Brocard-Ukraine, pharmaceutical distributor Venta Ltd, Kryukiv Carriage Works, tour operator TUI, Greenfield tea and Jardin coffee producer, Yermolino semi-finished food plant, and Jupiter 9 Agroservice.

Last Friday, the National Security and Defence Council imposed sanctions on 3,600 people, including Russian oligarchs, officials, and propagandists.

In particular, the list includes:

  • children and relatives of Vladimir Putin and his inner circle;
  • representatives of regional elites and the Russian government;
  • oligarchs and their close associates;
  • artists and propagandists, including citizens of Ukraine;
  • collaborators who went over to the enemy;
  • senior officials of state-owned corporations;
  • representatives of the senior leadership of the armed forces of the Russian Federation;
  • representatives of the so-called ‘LPR/DPR governments’, the occupation ‘authorities’ of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and leaders of illegal armed groups operating in the occupied territory of Ukraine.
