Head of the Institute Tetiana Khutor attended the opening ceremony of a new artwork on Kontraktova Square in Kyiv - the anti-corruption framework from the UN Global Compact in Ukraine

The purpose of the installation is to draw attention to the personal responsibility of each of us for eradicating corruption from the public life of Ukraine.

"Today it is very important to raise the issue of fighting corruption and the role of business in the transparent reconstruction of Ukraine. The Ukrainian resistance depends on how much money the country has and how well the economy works. The economy depends on business. The more transparent the state is, the more interested businesses are in investing in the country. Integrity is one of the components of our victory in this war," said Tetiana Khutor.

The cube has a mirror surface where everyone can see their reflection. This symbolizes everyone's responsibility for the existence of corruption in Ukraine

"Every smallest bribe creates the preconditions for tolerating corruption at higher levels. Therefore, overcoming corruption begins with personal rejection of it in private life. It is not easy to get through the frame because it has a maze inside. It is also not easy to fight back against corruption. We can do it only together," the organizers said.

Visit the anti-corruption framework and share it on social media using the hashtag #долаю_корупцію.

The UN Global Compact in Ukraine is the Ukrainian network of the world's largest community of responsible businesses. This special initiative of the UN Secretary-General calls on companies to build their operations and strategies in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and based on 10 Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
