Tetyana Khutor on the broadcast of the Pryamiy TV channel about the extradition of Mindich
Without the United States, it is unlikely that anything will move forward regarding the extradition of sanctioned Timur Mindich from Israel to Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the Institute of Legislative Ideas, Tetiana Khutor, during a broadcast on the Pryamyi TV channel.
«Ukraine can only hope for cooperation and political influence from the U.S. on Israel, which supports Ukraine. If Mindich is returned to Ukraine, he will face accountability, as the U.S. provides comprehensive support to our country. This will serve as a clear indicator and signal to everyone that sanctioned individuals cannot evade criminal responsibility», – noted the head of the ILI.
Tetiana Khutor also reported positive signals from anti-corruption bodies indicating that extradition is possible. However, the procedure is currently complicated by the war, as the legislation of many countries prohibits extradition under the conditions currently present in Ukraine.
More details about the political conditions of Timur Mindich’s extradition can be found in Pryamyi’s report:
