The head of ILI participated in a roundtable organized by ARMA

A roundtable titled Asset Management: Comprehensive Solutions” was held at ARMA (the Asset Recovery and Management Agency of Ukraine), where participants discussed the next steps in reforming the Agency’s operations and improving procedures for managing seized assets in line with the provisions of Law No. 4503-IX.

The event brought together representatives of ARMA, the Office of the President of Ukraine, judges of the Supreme Court, as well as representatives of the NABU, NACP, Office of the Prosecutor General, and the Bureau of Economic Security. Also participating were officials from the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Economy, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Prozorro.Sale, Transparency International Ukraine, and the Institute of Legislative Ideas (ILI).

During her remarks, ILI Chair Tetiana Khutor emphasized that today it is important not only to “put out fires,” but to build a stable and transparent management system.

According to Tetiana, the new law introduces a number of positive changes but does not solve key problems – particularly the lack of clear procedures for identifying, evaluating, and preserving assets. That is why ILI supports establishing sustainable funding for ARMA, enabling the Agency to operate independently and ensure the effective use of seized assets for the benefit of the state.
